Yes, I have approximately 4-5 weeks to go before my expected delivery date (EDD). What scares me is that based on my friends experiences, some would experience actual labour on the 35th week of pregnancy and that's exactly where I am right now.
I am half-hearted about my delivery...first and foremost - I worry about my work. I know it sounds crazy but at this very moment in time I have tonnes of workload which I just need to clear them off. I have a new portfolio in my GPA for this year and it drives me crazy as I need to crack my head to think for myself - yes, again I did not get a proper handover on this portfolio. It depends so much on my own effort, pro-activeness and wisdom to get things done. I just pray that it should be the way of handling things. Huhuhu..
Tis morning, I experienced some pain in my abdomen and it feels as if my baby is starting to engage. I can't sit straight since last night, I just have to lie back a little bit because my tummy is pressing against my thigh. It's my first experience and I'm getting pretty nervous but excited. Does it mean that I'll be seeing my baby very-very soon? Owhh...anxious!
Now I've really got to prepare a lot of things - handover notes to my colleague who would be relieving me, getting ready two bags to be brought to the hospital (one bag for me and one bag for baby)...still, one part of me worrying about work...oh no!
