Eksesais

Hahaa...mind the spelling of my blog post.

Yes, I am gradually moving back to my exercise routine after a very long break. The last time I had my work out session was just before I got pregnant, then I only do walking during my pregnancy. It's almost four months since my angel was born so I believe it's just the right time to start with some core low impact exercises.

I've started my saturday morning briskwalking at the bulatan park and twice a week I'll do some quick core exercises at the gym. For the past few months I feel exhausted, sluggish and I know it was lack of exercise. Doing house chores alone doesn't give me enough sweat, so I know I've gotta do more. One week has passed and I'm feeling great, energetic and more alert at work. Yeah...need to continue.

My main priority to exercise is to stay healthy - of course I also need to eat healthily and perhaps take some supplements to balance whatever that I'm lacking of in my daily diet. I want to stay healthy for my family, and I also want to encourage my family to live a healthy lifestyle. To look slim and slender is a bonus, but I'm more particular with my inner health - cholestrol level, sugar level, BP, etc. especially when age is catching up. Big three is here very soon!!

I was once a very huge, big, gigantic woman especially during my university days. I was almost 40kg more than I am today, and it took me a while to have that strong determination to lose all my weight. One of the reasons was I constantly having headache and I didn't know what happened to me. I was so afraid to see the doctor for a thorough checkup because I know doctors will always comment on my weight, and to be honest, I didn't like that.

I was very depressed back then but I thank God for the strong will I had. It wasn't easy I must say, losing it all on my own without any diet pills, meal replacements, protein shakes or whatever not. Two years of hard work and yes, I've achieved my goal. Never go on a no-carb diet, I had a very good friend who is my personal free-of-charge nutritionist to advice me on what to eat. I didn't starve myself, but i had 3-5 meals a day. I still can go for KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, etc but this trick does well - control ur portion.

I'm writing this post not to brag about my past achievement but rather to encourage me back so that I will get back to that momentum. I don't want to be a sluggish and not-healthy mother/wife. I want to feel good and healthy, and it will also help me to think clearly at work. Therefore, to myself - do not give up! If any of you feel encouraged with this post, lets stay healthy together. :)
